Students of 2nd of ESO have learnt from practice some of the concepts studied in the classroom.
The experiment consisted in protecting an egg that was later thrown from a third floor. The challenge was to manage to balance the forces to keep the egg intact after falling to the ground from a third floor height as well as to engage in cooperative work and be creative and original in the process of problem solving. Here are some photographs to prove they achieved their goals successfully!

SECOND TERM
2 ESO C and D are reading MILLIONS by FRANK COTTER BOYLE this term.
2 ESO E have worked really hard for their projects about famous people they admire. From Gloria Fuertes to Ronaldo, they all found someone to look up to. They would like to share some of them with everyone at Aldebarán:
FIRST TERM
2nd eso Sección have been watching a BBC series of short episodes about the History of English Language. Where English Language comes from, where many words in English have come from, the evolution of the language in time, along with evolution of the Sciences, Arts. The importance of William Shakespeare and many others contribution to what we now call ENGLISH. We also had fun reading and watching Grendel's legend.
As our 2nd eso students (SECCION) are working on the Middle Ages in Social Studies, we have also been reading about it in our English classes. "King Arthur" has been our topic. We read and talked about it, we've looked at beautiful paintings from all ages about this romantic story.
All our 2º ESO students are working really hard this year, improving their English skills towards the exams they will take next Spring.
In 2º ESO (SECCION) section we held a small Halloween Stories competition and here is the result:
Students Projects for Social Studies about Feudal Times ( 2nd eso SECCION) are on display in the School Inner Hall. They have made amazing castles, fortresses, and villages that show how much they know about life in those days. Here it is an example of what you will find there:
